Our story

Fiona & Brian Brumby

Silly Moos Campsite began life as a working dairy farm, its name a playful nod to the cows that once called it home. For many years, Fiona and Brian welcomed visitors not just for camping, but for family-friendly adventures—including a maize maze, children’s play areas, weddings, and even festivals. With its signature black-and-white cow-themed décor, Silly Moos became a well-loved destination for both holidaymakers and TT racing fans alike.

Catering for TT race fans, the campsite gained a devoted following, with motorbike enthusiasts returning year after year to experience the thrill of the races in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Now, while we are no longer located directly on the TT course, this brings new advantages—offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, where guests can unwind after a thrilling day of racing. With easy access to key race spots and a relaxed countryside setting, visitors can enjoy the best of both worlds—soaking up the TT atmosphere while having a comfortable place to recharge.

While the cows may be gone, the spirit of Silly Moos lives on—providing a fantastic place to stay, connect with fellow race fans, and experience the Isle of Man’s legendary motorcycle events.
